Matt Renshaw, a name you wouldn’t associate with the big hitting of the t20 game. However, last year he but a superb 90 not out in a run chase v the strikers. I feel this was a breakout t29 innings for him. He has a solid defence and huts his shots incredibly hard. I think he could really flourish this year for the heat.
Liam Livingstone the English batsmen will look to impress for the scorchers. He would have been disappointed to not have been picked in a mainly experimental side for the New Zealand t20’s at 26 now he isn’t young anymore. He needs to start maturing if he is going to meet his England dreams. A good big bash would be a start.
Loyd Pope the young ginger leg spinner is a very exciting talent. However, last year the 20 years got whacked a bit. However, there were glimpses of the undoubted talent. His flipper is something not many, people read so hopefully he can utilize this and have a fantastic big bash.
Sandeep Lamichane, the extremely young Nepalese 18-year old is bucking his trade in many of the t20 leagues around the world. His leg-spin undoes many quality batsmen. It is known that Michael Clarke saw him in a hong kong tournament flow him over to Australia to play grade cricket. He impressed in taut and quickly developed to the IPL. He was the first-ever Nepalese player to have achieved that only at 17. He will hope to build on this and have a good big bash.
