The World test championship is a new format in test cricket. The championship runs from August the 1st for two years. In all three formats, the championship is run. The two top teams will compete in the final at Lords in two years time. The aim is to bring context to bilateral series. I feel that it is a very good idea. Some bilateral series lack this and the championship brings this. With the ashes at the moment bringing real excitement to test and cricket as a whole.
