T20 county all stars XI

  1. Alex Davies a very exciting prospect who a very good and consistent blast with 534 runs at an average of 53. Not to mention his wicket- keeping skills.( In this team is Tom Moore’s so Alex won’t be keeping.)
  2. Daniel bell Drummond the glue to hold the innings behind. He isn’t as big a hitter as others but is very dependable, always getting a solid start to give the big hitters a platform with an average of 31.00.
  3. Ben Duckett by his standards had a disappointing blast but still had an average of 29.57. Saying that he still has amazing potential. Also this year he started keeping wicket, another string to his bow.
  4. Tom Moores an explosive batsmen who has broken through into all 3 formats for Nottinghamshire. He(as 3 out of the top 4 are )also is a wicketkeeper and has secured himself a BPL contract which shows how good he has been.
  5. Ollie Pope maybe not the big hitter but he is very good in the middle overs against the spinners. He always manages to improvise to find the boundary he needs. Also another wicket keeper.
  6. Lewis Gregory a hard hitting all rounder who had an incredible blast with an average of 47 with the bat and and a bowling average of 31.28 but the important thing is that he is economical and gets big wickets. Also he will be my captain as he has done that job so well for Somerset.
  7. Benny Howell a bowler who nails his variations and t20 is definitely his best format. An average of 19.29 makes him,in my opinion, the best medium pacer in the middle overs in England.
  8. Jamie Overton a wicket taking bowler with an average of 22.50 he has really found himself as a t20 bowler this year. A bowler he can ramp it up to 90mph.
  9. Max Waller the best economy rate in the blast and when you take into consideration that he plays at Taunton where 200 is par. This really puts his value into perspective. Because of this he was called in as a replacement for Sunil Narine in the BPL
  10. Patrick Brown 31 wickets at 13.35 a piece a real breakthrough season for Patrick and a brilliant death bowler.
  11. Matt Parkinson 25 wickets at 16.60 a great spin bowler in the middle overs is is very steady and rarely gets taken apart by anybody. To make this team you couldn’t have represented England in the t20 team.
