Somerset’s t20 team

Last year Somerset got to the semi finals in the blast this year I believe they can go one better.

1.Tom Banton Tom is a player with huge potential and one he has opened in the side he has done okay and a believe he should be given a long run in the team.

2.Lewis Gregory he is the captain of the team and I believe he has the skill to be a pinch hitter in the space of Johan myburg last year.

3.James Hildreth he has adapted his game wonderfully well and is very consistent and fully deserves his place.

4.Tom Abell he was relatively new to t20 last year but he did well and was the glue that held the team together.

5.Peter Trego I believe Trego is no longer that good against quality pace bowling so I believe his is best used to target the spinners in the middle overs like he did to agar last season.

6.Corey Anderson we haven’t signed him yet but i feel he will come back and he was very destructive last year a great buy.

7.roelof van der mer a very good off spinner and wins games with the bat as well one of the first names on the team sheet.

8.Jamie Overton he had a very good tournament last season and if he stays fit there is no reason he can’t do the same.

9.Jerome Taylor an outstanding overseas buy his highlights a 5 wicket haul against Hampshire one of the first names on the team sheet.

10. Jack Brooks I feel jack is the consistent bowler we were missing last season to just bowl normal 4 day lines and lengths not to quickly and say have figures of 1-30.

11. Max walller an incredible performer last year with the lowest economy rate for someone with over 29 wickets and he has really upped his game a superb performer.
