Somerset’s one day side

Somerset has a disappointing time last year in the one day cup failing to qualify here I am going to be giving my side that I fell should start.

1.Ashar Ali our overseas player who is a very consistent performance who can be the backbone of our one day team.

2.Tom Banton a player with big potential and I believe who should be given a good run in all 3 formats as our opener

3.james Hildreth another consistent and veteran performer who is one of our best players in all 3 formats. A shoe in.

4. Tom Abell our captain and although his one day seasons last year was curtailed through an injury I believe that he can perform.

5.peter Trego now a white ball specialist i believe he is best placed at 5 to dominate the spinners and death overs.

6.George Bartlett a promising player who I believe has a lot of talent and here in the number 6 position. It is kind of luxury role where he can play without any fear and just bat as the situation tells him to.

7.lewis Gregory a very consistent white ball performer which bat and ball the first name on the team sheet.

8. Roelof van der mer an example of why Kolpak performers are so important as valuable as an overseas player with his off spin and hard hitting batting.

9.Craig Overton a very good white ball opening bowler who will be potent in combination of jack brooks.

10.Jamie Overton a very exciting performer not very young now If he stays fit he will be very good for Somerset.

11. Jack brooks a new signing from Yorkshire and he will be very potent opening bowler in combination with Craig Overton.

A believe this team has batting fire power and bowling fire power and can go all the way.
